Located on 450 -Feet of frontage on a sheltered bay on beautiful Lac La Belle, this fine resort (Restaurant, Lodge, Cabins, General Store, Marina, Docks) is located in Keweenaw County in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Lac La Belle is French for "The Beautiful Lake", the name given to both the lake and the small unincorporated community which has an active tourist industry. The lake has a deep water harbor, and the resort offered for sale has ten rental docks. Some can be reserved at no charge by Lac La Belle Lodge Guests, and some are leased for each season. There are a few dock spaces reserved for Gas-fuel refill, Store, and Restaurant Customers. Some electricity and water hook ups can be arranged for, and gas is available next to the Boat House. The 343 Sq Ft Boat House has two storage rooms, and screened-in fish cleaning area. Fishing is fantastic in Lac La Belle, for Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Northern Pike, Walleye, Musky and Perch, or you can take the short trip through the channel to Lake Superior for Salmon, Steelhead, Brown Trout, Lake Trout. Tackle and Night crawlers are sold at the General Store, and boat and motor rentals are available. There is a beach area on the property for swimming and wading, and for launching your boats, kayaks, and canoes. Picnic tables and grills are near each Cabin, and Camp fire locations are provided along the shoreline. There are views of Mount Bohemia from the Lac La Belle Dining Room! This recreational area offers snowboarding, and “extreme” skiing on trails that are almost all triple black diamonds. The 585 acre resort gets between 250 and 300 inches of snow a year and is serviced by two chairlifts. Being developed by the same owners, Voodoo Mountain which has four peaks on 1,800 acres, provides skiers and riders Snowcat Skiing experience without having to fly out west.  Together Voodoo Mountain and Mount Bohemia may eventually offer over 2000 acres of skiable terrain making the two areas the second most skiable acres east of the Rockies. The area surrounding the resort has dense forests filled with hard and soft woods and small mountains with rugged terrain. Nearby recreation also includes golfing, hiking, hunting, and snowmobiling. The Main Level of the Lodge contains the Bar-Restaurant, Dining Room and General Store. Built in 1995, it has a fully furnished Kitchen with walk-in cooler, Bar-Dining Area, and two rest rooms. Hardwood flooring, and pine trim is featured throughout. Wrapping around the exterior of three sides of the building is an elevated 8 foot wide deck for outdoor dining and relaxing. The Convenience Store has a walk-in freezer and cooler, and sells groceries - Basic food items, Ice, pop, beer and wine and some hunting, boating and snowmobile supplies. Also available are gift - souvenir items, books by local authors, and Bear Belly Bar and Grill Clothing (sweatshirts, hoodies, tee shirts) and Hats. DNR licenses and ORV or Snowmobile permits can be purchased here. Lodging, dock and equipment rentals are also handled here. Gas is available at the Main Lodge and by the lake Boat House.
